Yasunori Iwanaga appointed CIO of Amundi Japan

Yasunori Iwanaga appointed CIO of Amundi Japan, one of Amundi’s major investment centers with more than USD30 billion of asset under management as at end of March 2014.

This appointment illustrates Amundi’s strong long term commitment to Japan and reinforces its position as a global player.

Yanusori Iwanaga will lead the Tokyo based investment team which plays an integral role within Amundi Group:

  • It offers Japanese fund distributors and institutional investors in Japan a wide range of products with proven track-record in active and passive local equity, “smart beta”, fixed income products, etc.
  • It caters for global clients’ needs in Japanese equity capabilities.
