What is digital accessibility?
Digital accessibility involves making digital content and services understandable and usable by people with disabilities.
An accessible website is one that allows people with disabilities to access its content and features without difficulty. An accessible website allows, for example, users to:
- navigate with a voice synthesizer and/or a braille display (particularly used by blind and visually impaired people);
- customize the site's display according to their needs (enlarged fonts, color changes, etc.);
- navigate without using a mouse (with the keyboard only, via a touchscreen, by voice, or any other adapted device).
To achieve this, the website must comply with current standards during its development and updates.
