The 30th edition of The Amundi Evian Championship will take place from July 11 to 14, 2024 on the course of the Evian Resort Golf Club.

Amundi has been the title partner of The Amundi Evian Championship since 2021, and we are proud of our commitment to supporting the development of this sport, which requires skills similar to those needed in our job as an asset manager. We announce today the renewall of our partnership with the Evian tournament, for five additional years.

Indeed, the new edition of this tournament is an opportunity to share with our clients our values with golf:  precision, performance, and consistency. These values are also essential when it comes to managing our clients' savings.

However, our commitment to golf, and in particular to women's golf, goes beyond tournaments. We also support promising young players on three teams – the Amundi Team Europe (whose second promotion was presented in 2023), the Amundi Team US, and the Amundi Team Asia. Sará Kousková (Czech Republic), Charlotte Liautier (France), Kim Métraux and Morgane Métraux (Switzerland), and Chiara Noja (Germany) make up Team Europe. Lauren Walsh, a young Irish golfer who turned professional in the summer of 2023 has recently joined Amundi Team Europe.

We are also delighted to watch Morgane Métraux participate in The Amundi Evian Championship this year. She will wear Amundi colours after qualifying by winning the Jabra Ladies Open.

Investing in women’s sports is consistent with our values of promoting equal opportunities and diversity. We are convinced that supporting these talented young players, by giving them more visibility on the international scene or offering them new sporting opportunities, can help to make them emerge on the same level as men. To date, we have been able to sponsor 21 players from Germany, the USA, China, France, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand and the Czech Republic.

The Amundi Evian Championship recently confirms its ambition to develop women’s sport by increasing its prize money to USD 8 million.
