On 11 and 12 June 2026, Amundi welcomed 1,500 participants to Paris for the 16th edition of the Amundi World Investment Forum. Created in 2010, this landmark asset management event once again shed light on the major shifts reshaping markets, economies and long-term investment.
Since its launch in 2010, the Amundi World Investment Forum has established itself as one of the leading events in asset management. Each year, it brings together clients, experts, decision-makers and investors from around the world to share insights, expertise and perspectives on the new frontiers of investment.
Held under the theme “Age of Empires? Power and Potential Remastered”, the 2026 edition explored the shifting power dynamics now shaping the global economic and financial environment.
Across the discussions, several key themes emerged. Geopolitics is playing an increasingly decisive role in markets and investment strategies. Technology, from artificial intelligence to cybersecurity, is becoming a major driver of competitiveness and transformation. At the same time, longevity is emerging as a structural trend with far-reaching implications for savings, retirement and long-term allocation.
In this more fragmented environment, diversification, resilience and long-term thinking appear more essential than ever. The 2026 edition also reaffirmed the Forum’s role as a platform for high-level debate on the major economic, technological and financial challenges of our time.
