Amundi announces the appointment of Benoit Sorel as Global Head of ETF, Indexing & Smart Beta business line.
Prior to joining Amundi, Benoit was a Managing Director at BlackRock, where he was EMEA Head of Product for ETFs & Index Investing, based in London since 2018. Before this, Benoit was heading sales for ETFs & Index Investing for France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Monaco at BlackRock (2011-2018). Earlier in his career, he held several senior positions in business development on equity derivatives at Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (2007-2011) and Bank of America (2006-2007), and was in the sovereign advisory team at Lazard Frères (2001-2006). Benoit began his career in 1999 at Credit Agricole Indosuez in Corporate Debt Restructuring and Export finance in Jakarta.
Benoit is a graduate from ESCP-EAP with a major in Finance.
