Asia Valérie Baudson at the Global Investment Summit of Global Financial Leaders 2025 in Hong Kong

Valérie Baudson, Chief Executive Officer of Amundi, visited our teams in Hong Kong and met with our colleagues from Amundi BOC, our joint venture with Bank of China. She moderated a town hall, spoke with clients and CEOs of several key financial institutions and celebrated Amundi BOC's 5th anniversary.

Valerie Baudson, also participated in the Global Investment Summit of Global Financial Leaders 2025 in Hong Kong on November 3, a key forum where world leaders gathered to discuss ways to navigate an ever-changing financial landscape, from macroeconomic volatility and geopolitical shifts to the rise of AI-related opportunities.

Along with Ronald P. O'Hanley, President and CEO of State Street, and ZHANG Hui, Vice Chairman, President and CEO of BOC, Valerie joined a panel moderated by Bonnie Y Chan, CEO of Hong Kong Exchanges, and clearing limited. She highlighted the importance of diversification in the current investment environment, as Asian asset forecasts remain mostly positive and European investment grade bonds offer attractive opportunities. She stressed the need to remain selective.

She also met with the CEOs of several financial institutions: HSBC, PIMCO, PAG, Franklin Templeton, Wellington, Shroders, Invesco and M&G.

It was an opportunity to look back at the main achievements of the Asian teams (Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan) in 2025, which have laid a solid foundation for further future success.

During her trip to Hong Kong and China, she met several clients: ABC, BOC, CITIC, CIC, NCSSF and SAFE.

She celebrated Amundi BOC's 5th anniversary on November 6 and reiterated that our commitment to China has never been stronger and that the growth ambition is solid.
