At the recent AMF conference, Valérie Baudson, took part in the panel “Deep finance, the opportunities and challenges of AI in the financial sector,” where she shared our practical experience and vision on artificial intelligence in asset management.

She highlighted Amundi’s Alto Studio platform, which securely integrates data and AI engines to support innovative use cases such as issuer research, geopolitical sentiment analysis, portfolio optimization, and ESG research using alternative data.
She stressed that AI is not just a tool but a core part of reshaping investment decision-making, risk management, and competitive advantage. However, Valérie also underlined the importance of human insight and supervision to manage AI risks, including model bias, data quality, and the challenges of decentralized innovation.
