Our CSR approach
01
What is CSR at Amundi? How does it relate to ESG?
At Amundi, our ambition as a responsible company is fully aligned with our purpose: to act every day in the best interests of our clients and society. It is deployed through two complementary levers: CSR, which concerns our own operations, and ESG, which applies to our portfolios and our role as an investor.
This approach is based on a principle of exemplary conduct: we apply to ourselves the requirements we expect companies to meet. CSR thus reflects our responsibility in the conduct of our activities, while ESG is a key lever of our role as an investor, notably through the integration of ESG criteria into our investment processes, shareholder engagement and voting.
In this respect, at Amundi, CSR relates to Amundi’s responsibility as a company, while ESG relates to its responsibility in asset management and in supporting the companies in which we invest.
02

- integrating ESG criteria into investment decisions is a source of long-term performance;
- accelerating our ESG commitments will be a major growth driver worldwide.
