For the 30th anniversary of The Amundi Evian Championship, on the legendary Evian Resort Golf course in Evian-les-Bains, the tournament once again kept all its promisesand was packed with suspense.
By scoring an eagle and three birdies on the last five holes, young Japanese player Ayaka Furue won the 30th edition of The Amundi Evian Championship and succeeded Frenchwoman Céline Boutier, who won the title last year. At the age of 24, she won the first major tournament of her young career.
On the Amundi side, Morgane Metraux (CH) qualified following her victory at the Jabra Ladies Open in May 2024. Unfortunately, she did not manage to make the cut this year.
Valérie Baudson, Chief Executive Officer of Amundi, and Franck Riboud, President of The Amundi Evian Championship, announced the renewal of the partnership with the only major women's tournament in continental Europe for another five years, until 2030.
The next edition of The Amundi Evian Championship will take place from 10 to 13 July 2025.
