Europe Amundi Team: the second class unveiled

Published 11 January, 2023

Amundi announced the composition of the second class of the Europe Amundi Team as part of the Amundi Women Talent Program, which is at the heart of its commitment to promoting equal opportunities through its support for women’s golf.

The new team will be composed of Sará Kousková (Czech Republic) and Chiara Noja (Germany), both winners of the Amundi Czech Ladies Challenge (respectively in the 2021 and 2022 tournaments), Charlotte Liautier (France), Kim Metraux (Switzerland) and Morgane Metraux (Switzerland). Sará Kousková is also the LETAS (LET Access Series, which corresponds to the second European division) champion for the 2022 season.

The second edition of the Europe Amundi Team replaces the first team launched in 2021, supporting five young women golfers for a period of two years and helping them to emerge on the international golfing scene: Camille Chevalier (France), Lucrezia Colombotto Rosso (Italy), Karolin Lampert (Germany), Lucie Malchirand (France) and Luna Sobron Galmes (Spain). Two new teams have been launched in 2022, the US Amundi Team and the Asian Amundi Team, reflecting Amundi’s commitment to women’s golf and equal opportunities on a global level, in line with the group’s international scope.

Amundi, which has been involved in golf since 2011, took a new step in 2021 by becoming the title partner for the next five years of the only women’s golf major in continental Europe, the Amundi Evian Championship. On this occasion, Amundi made a long-term commitment to women’s sport by creating the Amundi Women’s Talent Program: this program is at the heart of the group’s commitment to promoting equal opportunities through its support for women’s golf.

Natacha Andermahr, Amundi’s Head of Communication, comments:

Amundi’s investment in women’s golf has continued to grow during 2022, firstly with the creation of our US and Asian teams, but also through our support of leading golf competitions, notably the Amundi German Masters which marked the return to Germany of a high level women’s golf tournament, and the KPMG Women’s Irish Open of which Amundi became a premium sponsor. The arrival in 2023 of the second class of the Europe Amundi Team, which includes young players with already promising track records, bears witness to our long-term commitment to women’s golf, with which Amundi shares a quest for excellence in the daily practice of its asset management business.
