On 31 October 2024, Amundi completed its eighth capital increase reserved for its employees. Amundi also supports companies that wish to implement employee share ownership plans.
At Amundi, we are convinced that employee ownership is an effective way to involve employees in the development of the company and associate them with the creation of economic value. These programs are designed to strengthen the sense of belonging and boost employees’ engagement. This is why companies are increasingly including employee share ownership operations in their corporate social responsibility policy.
Amundi supports and participates in this trend with two different dimensions:
- Over the past 10 years, Amundi has supported 75 companies, from international large groups to growing SME, who have set up shareholding plans for their employees. This represents more than 300 transactions in 129 countries.
- As an employer, we have also regularly offered our employees since 2015 to become shareholders of the company. Thus, on 31 October 2024, we successfully completed the 8th capital increase reserved for Amundi employees: more than 2,300 employees participated in it, in 15 countries. This represents almost two out of three employees in France and more than two out of five worldwide. To date, more than 60% of Amundi’s employees are also shareholders. Employee ownership is truly integrated of our employee experience offering.
